A mind map

Do you know what a mind map is?

We are learning how to elaborate a mind map as a study strategy. It makes us think and understand all we learn in class.
It is so easy and helpful. You just think on a relationship between all the elements you know and..... draw a mind map.
For example: we start with LIVING THINGS and we add "they have three characteristic: Nutrition, Reproduction and Interactoon with the environment". Then we follow with all we know about nutrition and so on.

Cells and legos, just DO IT!

Do you know that your body is made of cells? 
Well, all living things are made of one or more cells. They are the building blocks of life!!


We imagine that each lego piece is a cell and we just build our Living thing. It is so funny!!!

Cells

We are learning all about cells. Their parts:  nucleus, vacuoles, cytoplasm, mythocondria, DNA.... and the characteristics of Eukaryotic and Prokaryotic cells.

We even built a cell in groups! 
Guess what kind of cell it is.  Animal? Plant? or Bacteria? and send us your answer explaining why!!!!.

Dictogloss

-LIVING THINGS-

Dictogloss is a classroom dictation activity where learners are required to reconstruct a short text by listening and noting down key words, which are then used as a base for reconstruction.

Learners practise listening, writing and speaking ,by working in groups,  and use vocabulary, grammar and discourse systems in order to complete the task.

Here we are working in groups to reconstruct the text about LIVING THINGS which our teacher read before. It is very interesting!!!
