Using a microscope

Did you know what an eye piece lens is?
We are just learnig all the parts of a microscope and how to use it.

It is so exciting to oberve very tiny particles under the microscope.

Let's study some movements

This week we are learning lots of things about movement or motion, speed, acceleration, slow down.....

Here we explain a very interesting experiment
We need a metric tape of 20 meters, a watch and some pieces of chalk.

Step by step:
First we set the tape on the ground of the courtyard.

Second the student who has the watch counts the seconds while the teacher walks the tape and some other students make a mark on the floor indicating the teacher's position every two seconds.

Third one student writes down the data in a specific chart and

Finally, in the classroom, we elaborate a graphic from the data.

CELLS

We are studying eukaryotic and prokaryotic cells, their parts and functions.
With our teachers we build a vegetal (or plant) cell on a big card.

Next week we are going to represent a cell in teams.
